Well not really...but a few cohorts are getting together for a most excellent adventure. Matjaz (+Valerija), Nadir, Fabio and I will all meet in Tanzania this coming Saturday February the 6th.
On Sunday the 7th the plan is to begin the journey with a Trek from Machame Gate at 1828m to Machame Camp at 3020 m with a distance of 10.8 km and over 1200 m of elevation gain. The experts say that that the last two hours can be quite tiring. This first day could see us encounter our first rain or snow on the trip.
There is network coverage on the mountain so I will bring an N86 which has the best optics and flash of any Nokia kit. I will be able to take 8 mpixel shots, videos and panorama pics. I plan to upload these to the photo stream on this blog and also to do daily blog updates on our progress when we hit camp.

We gonna start our climb one day after you left.
